Larry Bagley earned his Bachelor of Science degreeand Master of Education degree in Administration from Livingston University. While attending college, he played baseball and participated in the 1975 Baseball College World Series. He began his educational career with the Clarke County Public School System in 1989. During his fifteen years with this school system, he has held numerous positions: teacher, football and baseball coach, assistant principal, and Transportation Director. During his tenure as principal, Mr. Bagley has been instrumental in Wilson Hall Middle School becoming an Alabama Reading Initiative Demonstration Site.
In addition to these job-related activities, Mr. Bagleyis also an active participant in community and professional activities. He is a member of the Civitan Club, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Grove Hill Baptist Church. He has been married to Kay Barfield of Grove Hill for thirty years. They have three children: Melissa, who is 26, Tyler, 23, and Kari, who is 19.
