Michael Natarella received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in 1995. He taught middle school social studies for three years and served as an administrative assistant for two years in the Columbia Public School System. In 1998, he accepted a position teaching at the American School of Asuncionin Paraguay where he taught for two years, and became proficient in Spanish. He returned to the United States in 2000 and accepted aposition to teach middle and high school social studies at The Capitol School, a private school in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Mr. Natarella finished his M.A. in Education in 2001 and completed his M.A. in Educational Administration in 2005. He continued to teach full time at The Capitol School until 2003. Beginning Fall 2003, he taught part time, took on a research assistant position at The University of Alabama, and began earning his Ph.D. full time. He will pursue administrative positions within the public schools here in Alabama.
