Dr. Kenneth Patrick Oliver

Principal Booker T. Washington High School

Kenneth Patrick Oliver grew up in Burnsville,AL and graduated from Dallas County High School in 1983. He received a basketball scholarship to Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, TX and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a minor in History in 1987. He also attended Texas A&M University, receiving a Master of Education in Educational Administration in 1996. Dr. Oliver received his Doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2004 from Nova Southeastern University, Florida. His most recent educational tenure includes: Lowndes County Middle School Principal (1997-1998); Opelika High School (Opelika, AL) Assistant Principal (1998 2004). He began the 2004-2005 school year as the new principal of Booker T. Washington High School (Tuskegee, AL). Dr. Oliver’s basketball coaching record during the ten years he coached (1987-1997) is 188 victories and 73 losses. Dr. Oliver has been married for the past 12 years to his wife Chelsea. They have two children: Brandi, 10 and Kenneth Jr., 8.
